Wild at Heart

Today was the most beautiful day. The weather was lovely and I spent practically all afternoon pretending I was an Indian. If you tread lightly here you can meet all kinds of little forest creatures. I can't pinpoint what is it that I love so much about being in the wild but I know that my soul comes to life as I take in the fresh smells and feel the fresh breeze brush across my skin. I love to discover all the little goodies God has tucked into each day here. I think even the deer are getting used to me, as they are letting me come much closer these days. Either that or I have become quieter. This is where I come to center myself. To hear my own thoughts. To simply do some existing. "Produce produce produce," the world says. But I refuse to be told how to live. I want to live intentionally.

One Day at a Time

                  One Day at a Time

One day at a time is all we can bear.
When faced by concerns, problems and care.
We must turn to our Lord and most patiently.
Ask for the answers and what we must see.
Then let him have the troubles we bear.
Knowing it works to turn to Him in prayer.
One day at a time we can handle, you see.
If we don't get caught up in what has to be.
So with the faith of a child turn all troubles to Him.
Your Lord and your Savior your battles you'll win.
So start it right now it is easy to do.
One day at a time it is now up to you.

Puppy Update: 6 weeks

A lot has happened with the puppies since our last update. The breeder came and made her selection. She chose "Large Marge" which is the girl with the aqua-blue collar. I'm sure she is very grateful to be renamed "Bay's Baby." I'm not sure any of these names have actually been finalized but at present the puppies are being called the following:

    Aqua-Blue:    Bay's Baby aka "Baby"
Black:    Blackstone's Kingdom of Glory aka "King"
Yellow:    Blackstone's Lily of the Valley aka "Lily"
Purple:    Bay's Sky of Glory aka "Sky"
(Purple now has a pink camo collar with a pink heart)
        Brown:    Sir Remington

I don't believe the others have been named yet. I'm secretly hoping that we can't sell one and I have to keep him. Of course my parents are keeping King but I'd like to keep green if I could. I just love him. $1200 and he's yours. Any takers?
